Deep Tissue massage is a modality that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It is great for muscles that are especially tight and painful due to poor posture, repetitive stress, minor injury, or disuse.

PRENATAL
Prenatal Massage is bodywork geared toward the specific needs of the expectant mother as her body changes and adapts throughout pregnancy. Prenatal massage is appropriate for pregnancies without complication at any stage. However, clients should always receive medical clearance by their physician for bodywork during pregnancy.

ORTHOPEDIC
Orthopedic Massage is a multi-technique modality focused on soft tissue injury rehabilitation. Goals include decreasing pain, increasing the range of motion of joints, facilitating soft tissue healing, and generally preparing the body to return to normal activities.
It can be effective for certain types of headache, TMJ syndrome, neck muscle spasm, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, back and SI joint imbalance, knee pain, and certain foot issues.

STRESS MANAGEMENT MASSAGE
This is our version of Swedish massage: A gentle, flowing massage with table stretches designed purely to soothe the nervous stem and relax the mind. Heated towels can be applied if desired! This modality does not feature any of the more intense deep tissue techniques. Great for people who need to alleviate the physiological effects of stress and get better quality sleep.
